Trying out some narrow band HSO imaging as its a little easier with light pollution . Did 2 palette maps for NGC 3324 , the usual Hubble of Ha(G) O3(B) S2(R) . Also did it as Ha(R) S2(G) O3(B) as a contrast .
Total times were 2.5hr each total of 7.5Hrs , RC10 ASI1600
That’s come out very well Mark. I’m going take a different position to Rick and say that I like the SHO version better. I like the contrast between the different colours which I presume comes from the different emissions lines in the object.
Thanks for the comments guys both palettes show things a little different I like the contrast as well with the first but the second shows a better image overall imho lol . I would like a lot more detail but it's difficult with suburban skies I'm bumping up against background glow on soft detail
