Ngc 3324 IC 2599

Trying out some narrow band HSO imaging as its a little easier with light pollution . Did 2 palette maps for NGC 3324 , the usual Hubble of Ha(G) O3(B) S2(R) . Also did it as Ha(R) S2(G) O3(B) as a contrast .
Total times were 2.5hr each total of 7.5Hrs , RC10 ASI1600

Nice work, Mark. I quite like the second palette. It looks a bit like CFHT, which I think is R=Ha, G=Oiii, B=Sii.

That’s come out very well Mark. I’m going take a different position to Rick and say that I like the SHO version better. I like the contrast between the different colours which I presume comes from the different emissions lines in the object.

I prefer the second as well.
Overall the images show nice depth and contrast.

Thanks for the comments guys both palettes show things a little different I like the contrast as well with the first but the second shows a better image overall imho lol . I would like a lot more detail but it's difficult with suburban skies I'm bumping up against background glow on soft detail
