orion again

12 x 45 secs 50mm @ f2 ISO 1600. 600D on Nano Tracker. Has lost some
sharpness in downsizing.

Nice. I did that with the 350D I was using previously but the result was not as good.

There are DLSR lens adapters available for my new ASI cam, I was seriously looking at getting one and working out a mount for it to strap it underneath my main scope so I can do long exposure widefield with it, guided though the OAG on the main scope.

Thanks Paul and Leon. I have removed the image because the stars along the lower part of the image are badly misshapen, so I will have to investigate the problem. I will remove this thread in a couple of days when you both have had a chance to read my reply.

I had not looked that much in detail to criticice to be honest. When I look at my M42 pic I can still see plenty of things wrong with it.
