Looking for photography guide on solar eclipse

Hi all,

I'll be flying to the States for the upcoming solar eclipse in August. Was just wondering if anyone can recommend a photography guide on how to image/film it? Happy to pay for the guide if need be.

Information i'm looking for is recommended equipment, technique, composition etc...

Would greatly appreciate any assistance

Thanks

Peter's guide is good and concise.
If you want a very thorough guide, there's this eBook for US$10.
Joe Cali has lots of good practical information on his webpage.
Xavier Jubier has a good online tool for choosing lenses, settings, etc. Have a good look around his site as there's a wealth of information there.

Steve.
