Meade ETX-LS; Home position; Level sensor adjustment
Owning a MEADE LS 6" I find no info about "Home Position" in the manual.
I would be happy to understand more about this.
When opening the Factory Calibration you can choose between "Level Sensor" and "Home Positon & Level". What makes the difference?
What is the right one for adjusting the level sensor?

The LS mounts have a "home" sensor on the DEC axle. Ref piccy,
The home sensor detects a bit of reflective tape stuck to the inner clutch plate.
I cant remember the full details but IIRC, doing the level and home means it detects both home then level, and when you set the tube level to confirm it, it writes out the offsets to both points.
No idea why its there???
