The Great Conjunction 2020

The Great Conjunction of 2020, Jupiter and Saturn.

Captured at Janis Street carpark Halls Head, Western Australia, right on the beach just after 8pm on the 21st of December 2020.

Captured in SharpCap, composite stacked image for Saturn and Jupiter, stacked in AutoStakkert, wavelets in RegiStax, edited in PaintDotNet.

Love your image

Love your photo. Had planned for 2 years for this event, but in the end a medical matter had to take precedence, and then friends helped, but nothing could be done about the clouds. Now enjoying what you and others managed to capture. Thanks for yours.

Thank you Barry, sorry to read that you missed out due to a medical issue and those pesky clouds. Usually it's us here in WA that gets clouded out for celestial events.
We were lucky here as there was a banded layer of smoke haze above the horizon and we didn't have long to image as they were already low in the sky. I was lucky to get what I did, seeing wasn't the best.
