Test 85mm f1.2 lens Lovejoy region

Hi all, this has been another purchase due to the Lovejoy frenzy, a Canon 85mm f1.2 lens. Tried it last night while I shot the comet with the astrograph, the 85mm lens centred on comet Lovejoy although not visible. Rigel and the outer extremites of the Witches Head nebula are visible. Placed a red X at the ephemeris position of the comet. This is only 5x2 minute exposures with 5D MK II at ISO 1250, as the other images were hindered by dew on the lens.

First image is a full size crop of the central area.

This is a full FOV

I was surprise how well this lens held the stars together right across the FOV at f1.2 = much better than my 24 mm f1.4 lens.
