USB Powered Hub Recommendation-WIN8

Can anyone recommend a USB hub that will actually work with Win8.1? I want to mount it on my pier. A wireless usb hub would be even better. But must have drivers to work with Win 8.1, I've had to bin one already that would not work.

This one isn't wireless but works on Windows 8.x and seems to be fairly popular among forum members.

Yep, I have that one. Quite good and the switches are quite handy, saves from unplugging unused equipment. The switches are easily bumped however. One night, I couldn't work out why I couldn't connect to the camera and found a taught cable running over the camera port that turned off the camera when I slewed.

My only complaint is that the main USB cable is a little short but nothing an extension couldn't sort out.

I have an mbeat running under W8.1 for my main desktop. Planned to use it for astro-related USB but so damned handy having so many ports and control over power that its never got into my gear bag.

But what i really like about it for scope use is that it has switches for three sets of three banks of USB devices, as well as 2 charger ports.
Best of all is it can be run off a 12-13.8V supply, and hence no 240V lead is required near the scope if you dont want.
Its only USB2.0, but as i am running it across a range of PCs, thats all i need.

In case it's important, I've got the Mbeat as well, and I power it off 12V DC, so you can skip the 240V AC with it if you want.

Thanks to all for your input. I have ordered the Mbeat. The 12V power option is ideal for my dark site trips.
