Hi Russell,

Most likely I do have one but the problem is that I don't have a list of what size fits what scope, so I need a measurement of the ID where the mask plugs in. Even a measurement with a ruler should be good enough.

B/Mask for Ed80

Hi Stefan,
I’ve just bought an 80mm BD ED80 and need a Bahtinov mask for it. The ID of the dew shield is 112mm. Would you have one to fit? Or be able to make one?

Sorry guys, the CNC project is on hold due to changed priorities since the pandemic.
Even when I finally get it going, it will not be practical to make large masks until I add a laser to it that can cut 1mm thick plastic sheets.

Just wanted to say thanks for my special order bathinov with the 2mm bars. I have been using this on my 100mm lenses and refractors for months and works on the DSLR and the astro cameras on any reasonable target. No need for the fishing line DIY model now. Did not realise what a perfect result I would be getting.

Can you update us on whether you're still making these or not? Last post mentioned you were getting a laser?

Yes I still make them on request, up to 150mm diameter.

I got my CNC working a few days ago but I have not bought a laser yet.

Many years ago I started building a small CO2 laser that would be perfect for it but technology has evolved and these days a small fiber laser would be more practical. Have to see what's available. Maybe I can get away with a cheap diode laser.

Thanks Stefan the mask arrived yesterday, the poor ox looked tired. The mask is really nice and fits like a glove. Way better than anything I could conjure up.
