Mars at last!

Bit late after opposition but finally managed a very poor image of Ares!!
Using My Edge HD 8" with 2.5 Powermate, ZWO ASI290MM camera, Mini Filter Wheel with Baader RGB filters, using Firecapture and processed with PIPP, Castrator, Registax and Photoshop CC

I have had about 6 unsuccessful attempts at Mars so far so happy to finally get a result!!

It’s pretty much what I saw at the eye piece tonight. I tried photographing it with my iPhone but just had an over exposed blob.
Yours is much nicer

It looks like the dust storm is finally subsiding.

Gosh that's remarkable for a C8. Nice camera and very nicely done!

Very decent, Malcolm, details are showing real well, I am however seeing a red tinge around the limb area, maybe able to mask that with a feather and try desaturing it ?
Bit yeah, must feel good to get a nice result, great stuff
