Sounds good, with a new sensor would be interesting to see some shots lower noise maybe ?

Yeah...., not going to bite.
Too many pixels IMHO. I think Canon hit the point of diminishing returns with the 40D.
There's so much noise with these cameras that the Digic processors (good as they are) can't cope with it. Images come out looking overprocessed. Even in RAW. Chucked my 7D for a 40D.
Just my 2 cents.

I can't see the point in more than about 10MP, unless its in a 645 or 6x7 or even bigger body.

Better noise reduction would be more use.

I have also noticed on the Images Plus Yahoo site that some postings of late mentioned of error messages from the new 7D and 500D
