Hi all,
For the people of the greater Brisbane area, I am considering hosting a workshop/tutorial session aimed at the budding visual or imaging astronomer.
For those interested, please let me know the following;
- Interest (Visual or Imaging).
- Equipment (ie 10" Dob, ED80 on EQ Mount, etc).
- Where you are located (Just Suburb. This is so that I can organise a suitible location depending on the numbers of people. At the moment, it will be either Logan Central, Lawnton or Hemmant being somewhere in the middle).
- Expectation (What it is you are wanting to get out of it, could be reading charts or how to star hop).
- How many would likely attend.
Submit your responses to the survey at the following link please;

Note: If the link is down, please try again later. Please only submit your response once.
I do not see the need for this to occur around a dark sky, so it will likely be around a 1st quarter weekend with the 11th of March (Saturday) pencilled in. Arrival would be any time after 4pm to allow for set up and help while the sun is up.
If you are keen, please respond by the 18th of February so that I can gauge interest. If the interest is high enough, I will send this over to a Facebook event with further details.
Please let me know if you have any questions.
Joel
