Ta Leon, you not a big fan, , me not so much either, just seen this Pyro-Comp start up about 10yrs with only two competitors, hadnt seen it since, tho it has grown a bit.
Thought to venture out and to be honest, this event is much bigger and better than the Gold Coast's New Year event, , These fireworks go twice as high, twice as noisey, twice a big & twice as long also.
Wasn't disappointed (y)

Cheers Derek, ahh Vivid, seen plenty about it, never been tho.
I just seen some other captures on the web with these Fireworks taken from up in/on the high-rises, some fantastic perspectives on the display,,

No worries Chris, sorry for the late reply..
Exposures varied through-out, but mostly near open apertures, F3'ish tho upto F5 at times; ISO mostly 200 but 400 at times; exposures mostly 3 secs, and a tad more, tho did a few under a sec which froze the fire-work to show up some of the shapes they can make these day's eg.. disc's hearts etc.
