Microsoft update issue

There were a few updates issued today and one in particular caused me grief in IE11. Some pages were causing IE to crash and stop working. MS are aware of it, and apparently are hoping to fix it. I actually uninstalled the particular update and the problem stopped. Here is the number for those who are interested. I think it is only for Windows 7.

KB022168.

Here is Microsoft's take on it:

Known issues in this update

After you install this update, Internet Explorer 11 may close unexpectedly when you visit some websites. When the problem occurs, you may receive an error message that resembles the following:
We were unable to return you to [previous URL]
Internet Explorer has stopped trying to restore this website. It appears the website continues to have a problem.
The problem may occur if the website is complex and uses certain web API's.
Microsoft is researching this problem and will update this article when more information becomes available

Hi,
Thanks for that.
It's been reported that an IE 11 update "killed" the printing ability & only printed blank pages from IE11.

A FWIW...
You might want to frequent askwoody dot com & keep up-to-date with the latest
updates etc., etc., & what to do with them.
I only install the security updates on my WIN7 PC.

Thanks will add that to my list, I subscribe to Windows Secrets newsletter and they go into great detail about all updates, and associated issues.
