Mars One goes belly-up

Hi All,

Hate to say I told you so but ...

https://spacenews.com/mars-one-compa...WlLJDLz7WXiZJg

I still think the first human to set foot on Mars, probably hasn't been born yet and I shall be very, very surprised if happens before I am on a walking frame.

The problem isn't technology, it's money -- any undertaking of this sort is vastly expensive.

Best,

L.

With no-one to help you and no way home.

Those in favour of manned mars missions consistently overlook these basic issues.

May as well take your helmet off when you land IMHO. At least the ending will be quick. And that’s assuming you have survived the radiation exposure en-route.

Perhaps someone on death row would volunteer... I wouldn’t
