First Jupiter / Overall Frustration

Hi all,
Still here. Last night with the first night since Boxing Day that weather, work, and holidays have aligned for me to set the scope up.

I'm no expert but God it seemed like a clear night. On my 8" scope I had my Tele Vue Powemate 5x with my X-Cel LX 5 mm and the views were amazing.

Just couldn't remember how to take the video with the 60D a bit magnified. So just took a 4 minute video @ 640x480 and then used Autostakkert.

Happy for my first time, plus a couple of moons I think I had 4 moons on one shot but it looked terrible

Cheers
Mick

Wow, I can see quite a few now that you mention it. Thanks for the heads up.
Cheers
