just managed to get this tonight. pushing the limits of the wobblepod

canon 650D and tamron 150-600mm lens

Yes, it did look quite pretty tonight - then again, recently any clear has looked good.

Coincidentally, as you was taking that shot I was setting up a scope that used to belong to you. A C-11 on a G-11. I've only just got a tripod for it so tonight is first light. I've just finished dinner and am about to step outside. Yahoo!

wow - be only the scope if you got it from richard - he already had the mount

Awesome night time image. The crescent thin in the low horizon always makes me stop and stare. Nice snapshot.
