ngc253 from Queensland Astrofest 2019

one more from the batch, this one is only 58minutes worth with the RASA 11" and the ASI071 at gain 80 stacked with Deepsky stacker and processed in Pixinsight

Thanks for the feedback, probably redo later to get some details in the galaxy if I can

And for the record Every 30seconds of image at f2.2 is equivalent to 7 minutes of image in a f7 telescope, so this image is equivalent to 13.5 hours taken on a conventional scope

Maaaate, with that amazing scope under good dark skies you should'a hit it for a long one and hey, you might have revealed my special little baby NGC253-dw2

That scope has a lot of potential....don't get sick of it and sell it!

no fear F2.2 will live on, i am thinking of f2.0 for the doghouse as the 8" i can set autofocus without the need for focus locks. i will email you the original if you wish to have a play?

I should have had a closer look at that beast David. That's a great image for very little time. The future looks promising if you can suck down that much data in an hr.
