What is it?

Visiting Karumba on the Gulf of Carpentaria for a few days, I took this image on IPhone on Tuesday pm looking West over the Gulf. When I looked at it today I noticed something in the picture at about 7pm relative to the sun that I can’t explain. Any ideas?

Lens Flare it is then!

Thanks everyone for your replies, at least I have learned a bit about lens flare. Much more to learn I fear but this is a great place to do it.
