post processing

I'd love input on post processing images.Can anyone advise or do something with the attached?...I'm currently using and learning Gimp.

mark what stuff are you using to get this pic?
telescope, reducer / corrector, camera, iso, exposure, stacked or single shot?
looks a bit out of focus, but depends on the focal length
nice roundish stars on the whole but for some, someone could of knocked the mount?

.......... oh yes also in astro photography the subject is best in the centre!
(unless widefield)

Thanks for the the reply pat.
I'm using an Orion 8" reflector on an EQ mount with an Orion G-3 color camera. 25 ten second exposures stacked (good tracking) focus questionable I agree. I can't help thinking that the image contains a better final outcome based on some images I've captured in the past.
