First try on tarantula

Boy, this one was tricky! Took advantage of clear skies yesterday night before the moon rose. Only had time for 1.5 hours of acquisition. Processing it was the real issue, while the moon was minimal at this time, sky glow from surfers paradise and neighbouring houses created real problems. This is as best as i can get it without spending dayyyys.

You should be very happy with that Tony.
It was clear and dark here and I had just got my 80 x 400 binos back from my brother in law... Great viewing session and I was spent just before Moon rise.

That's a fair effort considering what you had to deal with. I'd be pleased to get something half that good from my location. Unfortunately I have a beautifully elevated southern street light that's perfectly polar aligned and obstructing my view.

That's come out really well Tony. Some nice colour for an OSC on this target. Makes me want to have a go.
