M16 Eagle Nebula under blustery conditions

My second image from last night , NGC 6611 or M16 Eagle Nebula
First time imaging this DSO
25 x 5 minute dithered guided subs
15 x darks
ISO 800
Canon 600D
DSS
Startools
Not a very sharp image and colour a bit wishy washy
I guess I’ll just blame the windy conditions.....

Thanks for looking

M16

Looks pretty good to me! Maybe the stars have a bit of a halo but very pleasing. The colder weather must be suiting your setup.

Nothing wrong with your image in my view Martin. You are getting a good collection of objects. Well done.

Thanks Glen and Alex
I think I was a bit heavy on the deconvolution causing the stars to halo a bit. The halo picks up a bit of colour ( red ) in the colour module rather than leaving interstellar black background around them
Need to work on this one a bit
The data is definitely there with the integration time, just need to work on a few things
Thanks

Martin,

If this is what you came up with under Sydney's testing windy nights, mate I can't wait to see what you come up with from under a calm and dark sky!

Excellent, mate,

Alex.

Thanks Alex
Your making me get a big head , but sorry to disappoint I’m down at my holiday place near Ulladulla south coast for a week ( Bortle 3 to 4 skies ) but could hardly get a good visual on even the bright stars and focusing was time consuming too, a bit of a guess
We did coped it worse down here than Sydney, Tuesday and Wednesday arvo winds were 50 to 75km/hr. This image was captured on Monday night in 25km/hr wind with gusts up to 40km/hr
My EQ6-R performed so well in the conditions especially with that big OTA on board.
Here’s a reprocessed version on M16 I did yesterday , some minor improvements
Thanks for your kind comment
Cheers
