Worm Adjustment on EQ6-R Mount

After seeing so many youtube clips and articles on backlash, sloppy worm gear , loose belts etc .... I decided to do a maintenance check both my EQ6-R mounts as they are over 2 years old now.
The only item that needed attention was the Dec worm adjustment on the newer of the 2 mounts. With everything on board the mount I could see a distinct deflection back and forth of about 1mm so set about adjusting the worm carrier back and forth ever so slightly until it was nice and tight.Performed a + - 360 deg rotation in Dec to check for gear binding but it slewed around nice and smooth

Tomorrow night is suppose to be clear in Sydney, so interested to see if the adjustment has improved guiding in Dec ( I never had a real issue anyway in Dec with this mount )

Who knows I might of made it worse by adjusting it ??
Fingers crossed
