Are the clones of th Orion Expanse?

I've heard the 6mm and 9 mm expanse are pretty decent in fast scopes but the 15mm and 20mm are useless in fast scopes.

I'm looking for a decent 9-11mm and 5-6mm wide angle eyepieces that will go well in an f5 but not cost a fortune. I am very tempted with the Explore scientific 82s though.

Be tempted by the ES 82's. They are very good but a shame about the exchange rate.

ah good to know that these are the expanse. It's half th price of the beaded ones which is awesome. Thanks for the tip on the Bsts. I ended up getting an 8 inch Saxon dob last night for dirt cheap so I've put this expanse on hold. Need to sell my skywatcher heritage but I,think I'll end up better off.

Sad to say ES have put the prices up and now any of the 1.25" barrel 68 or 82º eyepieces cost Aus $200 and then add postage. This makes the 60º BST and Meade HD 5000's look really really good. I'd be buying the 60º things now.

The ES price rise makes the TV Panoptics look pretty good for a bit more….ok quite a bit more, but less than it used to be.

Couldn't,seem to find the bst at telescopes-astronomy. On ebay, the cheapest seems to,be about $90.

You should look for the ED eyepieces on eBay, they are the same as the BST.
Good quality eyepieces for a reasonable price I have found.
