sinusoidal guiding graph neq6

Hi
Ive been having very strange guiding behaviour with maxim and phd2 with my neq6pro.

Equipment
10inch f4 serrurier truss newt
Sbig stf8300m
Ts9 off axis guider
Lodestar guide cam
Rowan belt modded neq6pro
Eqascom 1.24
Maxim 5.18

Ive been testing the mount after the belt mod and when I start guiding in maxim, x and y stay almost flat for a few secs and all of a sudden the star is pushed away in y, it then returns and the graph flat lines for a few secs and is then pushed in the opposite direction in y. X remains relatively flat.
This repeats to produce a discontiguous sine wave.
Its pushed out by more than 5 pixels.

Now I thought it was the belt mod and backlash but I have got it running smoothly with hardly any play or binding. The gotos are much more accurate, repeated slews are so much better and I can get 2 to 3 min unguided subs with no trails. So its definitely not the worm or backlash or mesh.
I then tried phdv2. Similar thing.
But then phd v1.x works fine.
Whats even more strange is that I imaged for about 4 hours the previous night with round stars in all 10 min subs.
Its on a pier so I just covered it after the session and powered it up the next night.

Any ideas?
My pa is very close and I use pempro for pa.

I have tested pulse guiding and st4. Both do the same.
Could this be a software bug? Its not mechanical.
I usef superlube for the worm and ring gears and its allowed me to mesh without any play or binding. Previous lithium grease spray was horrible.

Can anyone tell me what the default rates are in eqascom for pulse and st4?

Is it 0.10, 0.10 and st4 - 0.25, 0.25?
