ISS Crosses the Moon, Illuminated...

Hi All,

Finally captured the ISS crossing the Moon, Here is a low resolution image of the transit, stacked to show all the frames. I took this using the video mode on my canon 1100D so pretty low resolution anyway... Transit occurred at 06:34:35 CST. 22nd Aug, 2016 From Adelaide.

Thanks guys. Took a few days plannings, but ended up staying home for it. We had another pass the day before, but unfortunately it was clouded out. It looked great naked eye watching it pass over the moon. Watched with my two younger sons, they loved it too... So glad I got it, next to get a Transit over Jupiter, and Saturn and and an APOD

Well planned and executed Andrew.

These are very exciting events but notoriously unforgiving if the timing is out slightly or equipment not working correctly.

Then there is the weather to contend with too!

Cheers

Dennis
