Mosaic Ha Sun!

Still trying to get around doing the solar mosaics but I think I'm narrowing down the problems.
This one from yesterday turned out a lot better than I really expected it would although not perfect.

I used 23 panels for this with my PST mod and ASI120mm.

looks pretty darn good to me Jarrod.

you could easily fix the background in PS or even Paint to create an even background to improve the presentation.

Thanks Russell!

Yeah I could of really done better with the background, I stripped back my original process and didn't finish it, laziness really but I wasn't expecting it to turn out as good as it did.

Jarrod,
You're really getting some good mileage out of that ol' Celestron PST Mod.
Well done mate.
One of the best "PST" images I've seen in a while - edge spiculation and faint proms as well!!!!

Cheers Ken,
Solar mosaics are a trickier business than I had anticipated but I am slowly refining things.
The mod has certainly had a work out since moving to Spain. Plenty of time to use it.
Now I have ordered a new ITF hopefully it may improve the contrast somewhat, we shall see.
