Saturn as an IR target

Interesting article. Has anyone imaged Saturn for IR ?

i've seen a few people use ir filters on saturn but my understanding is that kind of infrared can only be done outside the earths atmosphere.

That was my thought as well, it appears to be very diffuse. Probably get swamped in the skyglow normally.
