After five seeding seasons and four harvest seasons the Mewlon 210 needs its primary mirror cleaned.
This is a task I contemplate with much trepidation. I am sure that advice on the procedure has been posted here before so if the link could be given to me or procedural advice given I would be most grateful.
P.27 of the manual explains the process well.
unscrew the 4 screws holding primary in tube. I place the u-210 standing vertically on it's opening ie secondary end down when doing this. Then the primary holder can be slid out relatively easily, albeit gently. Have a padded area ready to prop primary on as you don't really want to rely on it balancing on the small visual back. I blow dust particles off mirror with Hurricane air blower and haven’t needed to do anything more.
