Celestron (Vixen) 12.5mm illuminated reticle eyepiece

I acquired this eyepiece as part of a package a while ago and had completely forgotten about it. It's branded Celestron but made by Vixen (circle V on the barrel). Presumably it was made in the '80s or '90s when a lot of Celestron gear was made by Vixen. It has a single pair of crosshairs.

Holding it up to a bright light and looking through it the bottom lens has a slight 'frosty' look to it (see 4th picture). In use with my C5 the transparency seems fine but it might not be ideal if you're hoping to see very faint stars for guiding.

Comes with 5 unused batteries. These cost more than $10 each on ebay.

Asking $60.

Enquiries by PM please.
