Jeremy, that's why I refer to such drones as 'air pollution'.
Flying, privacy invading, cr**, which should NEVER have been allowed in Australia, much less allowed to be sold to Australians.

I am so glad they have finally woken up here, I took my pilots licence for UAV four years ago to that i was legal, as a photographer and Journalist, but "kids" fly them as toys, finally you now have to register them, yeah DUH as if that's going to happen
Now we have morons on electric scooters fighting to be allowed on pavements and roads, the small toy ones small wheels, S** the pedestrians and drivers
UK government has always been 20 years backwards

It's not just the UK government being well behind the curve, when it comes to crafting laws regarding new and emerging technologies, Jeremy. It's governments everywhere, everyWHEN, to ALL new technologies over the millennia. It's been going on for as long as civilization, and thus far, no-one has gotten serious about trying to get ahead of the curve.

Take new cars, in the UK at least they have ultra bright led front lights on all the time, NO rear lights, that's a pain in the daytime but when it pours down morons do not turn lights on and you can't see them in front of you, UK government NO idea !
