Vela SNR

I had another go at the Vela SNR, slightly different framing from last time. Cloud and the moon limited how much time I had but the sky was good for a few hours after midnight.
22x7 minutes ISO 400, L-Enhance filter, Sharpstar 61.

I might still try a starless version.

I used the AZ-EQ5 and tracking worked well since adjusting the worms.

How do you find the SharpStar? I'm thinking of adding it to my collection.

The Sharpstar 61EDPH is a good little scope Rene. The focuser works well, the reducer/flattener takes it to a fast f/4.5 and it can cover full frame.

The spacer on the reducer can be unscrewed and you can thread a 2" filter inside.

Thanks Chris. I had to s-t-r-e-t-c-h it a lot - don't know if I could get enough hours to do a modest stretch on such a dim target?
