SPSP at Illford

We used to go to the South Pacific Star Party at Illford way back from 2005 to 2012 Is it still on? We used to have a great time there learning from both the tutorials and other participants

Cheers

Well I see that registrations for spsp have been opened

Hello everyone,

I am pleased to announce that registrations for the 28th Annual South Pacific Star Party (SPSP) are now open. The SPSP will take place from 2pm on Thursday 21st May to midday on Sunday 24th May 2020.

The main Star Party page is here:

http://www.asnsw.com/node/712

I encourage you to read through all the information on the main page and through the registration process, even if you have attended before, as the answers to most queries that you may have are already documented on the website.

Key points to note:

You must register in advance. There will be no on-site registrations.
Members should log in via the home page before registering.
Numbers will be limited and there will be no waiting list! We normally sell out in three weeks. The deadline for registration is Sunday 15th March.
Policies: Please review our Anti-Discrimination and Harassment Policy and our policy of No Drones at the SPSP. The ASNSW Policies page is here: http://www.asnsw.com/node/963
If you are a WIRUNA REGULAR and have a permanent site (caravan or tent), please select “Using existing permanent accommodation (tent or caravan)” from the accommodation options when you go to register. This saves us doubling up on our expectation of how many caravans and tents we are expecting.
There is a link to the Registration Page on the main Star Party page (above the picture). Please read through the information there as well.

Also, please ensure that you follow the instructions, scroll to the bottom of each page, click the relevant links and proceed through the registration process fully until you see the Thank-You screen! If you stop too soon, nothing happens (you don't get charged, I don't get your registration, and you miss out on the star party).

The deadline for registrations is Sunday, 15th March but, if the event fills up, registrations WILL CLOSE SOONER. Please register early and I do hope you can join us this year.

Cheers
Lesa
