Talking Adelaide Sucks.

It's been cloudy for around 2 weeks now.

Guess I'll clean the workshop.

Come to NZ. You're allowed now. We're having a crackin' autumn. Auroras just a couple nights ago. Bortle 1 skies easily accessible.

Well sure, that goes without saying, but it's been cloudy in most places for a while now...

Never been to New Zealand. I don't do holidays. Hopefully in the near future I can pack the telescope/photo rig up and go for a drive.

The mid to south east coast of NSW had only 14 clear nights over 4.5 months during our wet summer ( November to March ) La Niña
Thankfully it’s over as forecasted
I think I could live with just 2 cloudy weeks !!

Well in Cairns, we had 176mm of rain in the 24 hours to 9am today, and 159mm in the prior 24 hours. I can't even observe the Sun.

Great night for imaging last night. Fantastically stable skies, great guiding, excellent focus. Obs is in the Barossa. Whoo-hoo!
