2017 Solar Eclipse - Totality

Took this while over in Carbondale IL, USA for the Solar Eclipse last year.

edited with 3 different exposures.

First time trying my hand at Solar Photography.

Taken with a Canon 5DmkIII with a Sigma 150-600mm Lens with Solar filter

Nice work, Jeremy

There's a processing algorithm called a Larson-Sekanina filter. If you have software that supports it then give it a go. It was designed for processing comet images but it can work really well on TSE images too.

Nice work.

I'll second Rick's comment about the Larsen Sekanina filter.

If you don't have software, look up the algorithm and apply it in photoshop using calculations.

That's how I do it.
