Planetary fun (Nebula edition)

Another fun experiment with the ASI290MC with its small sensor. 34x 15sec images stacked live in sharpcap processed in photoshop. TINY nebula at just 3 arcmin.

Happy result for your experiment I am surprised that it worked as well as it did. Good work.

Nice capture.
What do you reckon about the noise - I suppose it would be the gain level in this test?

I had to jack up the gain pretty high and exposure pretty low due to trailing at this high magnification. I would be guiding but the guidecamera was busy taking the image

That is a very interesting and good image of a small and not bright target considering the equipment used . Gives me something to aim for as I have the same gear, ZWO 290mc and NG127 triplet. Have tested mine on the Hourglass in M8 and the Trapezium in M42 to reasonable results.
The telescope and camera are very capable instruments for DSOs as well as Lunar and planetary imaging.
