Nebulosity 4

I'm new to Nebulosity but have found it good for calibration. However, when I align and combine my final RGB images and then open the final file in 'LRGB Colour Synthesis', Nebulosity doesn't recognise it as a colour file. Any advice please?

Lrgb colour synthesis is for creating a colour image from mono RGB & L filters.
Is that what you’re trying to do?
One usually saves each filter stack as a fits file, then you can DDP them & save them as a colour tiffs, align them & use those tiffs for colour synthesis.
I personally save my aligned mono RG&B stacks, ddp them & then do everything thing else in Photoshop.
Hope that’s useful.
The instructions manual is very comprehensive
