Halloween Moon

Yes, I know it's not our custom to celebrate Halloween.
But so far I've had over 70 kids drop in and show off their costumes. The parents too are getting into the fun.
And anything that gets the kids outside into the fresh air and doing stuff with the parents is alright by me.
Here's a few Bat Moons I've taken over the last year or so. I thought I'd share them with you all tonight.

Hi jjj
Great pics.
My 6 year old has been so excited about Halloween (never been my thing). I can respect how people feel about it. He's wanted to dress up for weeks - he was a cat, I was a robot and Kate was a ladybird fairy. We worded up two of our close neighbours and dropped in for trick and treat (I would never impose on others). He had a ball and all social interaction is positive for Flinders. I even carved a pumpkin lantern - I must say I had fun!

Those moon shots are fantastic.

I think we should move Halloween to the equivalent time of year here, i.e. the beginning of Winter. It isn't all that spooky for the kids to be trick or treating with the Sun blazing at 6pm, and they are cooking in their costumes here. In the US and UK it is great, people light up their houses and project stuff in their windows, all of which really requires it to be dark at a reasonable hour.
