Saturn 7th May

Jetted out believe it or not, so I used the technique I used couple of months ago for solar; just capture long & plenty of AVI's & keep the fingers crossed that the jet calms down, even momentarily & hopefully a few of these moments in the data. Previewing, I was seeing probably 70-80% totally blurred out due to the jet in each 5.5 min AVI.

This image is a composite of course (for the moons) but the Saturn image is actually the 3 X 5.5 min AVI's stacked together, totalling 19 mins (3 X 5.5 mins plus pauses in between captures)...

Extremely happy with this technique & image considering.

Great image John,

so smooth and such detail on the rings!

I quite like the tilt on the image too, lends it a different feel.

Spectacularly good!

It seems I have some work to do......

Cheers

Chris

Hi Chris & thanks mate. I'm not really one to stick to specifics (zero planet tilt/Nth or Sth up etc.) I like random & something that has impact &/or somewhat artistic.
