Modifying the Meade Microfocuser to use the ZWO EAF Electronic Auto Focuser.

I've made a video on modifying the Meade Microfocuser to use the ZWO EAF.

https://youtu.be/U7CCWhEAuhc

I've 3d-printed an appropriate bracket/mounting system to the microfocuser to achieve this. And.... it's fully reverseable if I ever want to sell the Meade 10" scope.

As part of de-forking my LX200GPS 10" OTA, I needed a way to be able to adjust the focus using the Meade microfocuser that comes as standard with the scope. I'll be mounting this scope on my EQ6 Pro, so needed a way to adjust the fine focus on this scope, after first locking in the focus with the course focus knob and locking the primary mirror in place.

I'll put up a link to the 3D model later for anyone who wants to try it themselves.

I'm pretty happy with it - hoping to get out with it if I can ever get the saddle plate I need to mount the scope!

The 3d-model for this is here:
