Total eclipse observed from mid-Atlantic

Total eclipse 54s observed through light cloud from
Lat 14 06.1N
Long 31 50.4W

Cloud was thicker than I would have liked but climate is what you expect, weather is what you get.

The umbra was tiny compared to many other eclipses. It looked smaller than 2002 despite being 2 x bigger from my location yesterday (45km) compared to my location in 2002(20km). Projection geometry into the atmosphere was entirely different. This satellite link is too slow. Will upload photo's later.

Now kicking back and relaxing for the next 6 days at sea enroute to Barbados. This ship (Sea Dream 1) is fabulous!

It looks like you had better luck than most. Enjoy the rest of your trip.
