Denkmeier II Universal Power x Switch Binoviewer complete kit for sale. Includes binoviewer, dual arm power switch, 2 inch OCS, 1.25" nosepiece, aluminium caps and aluminium case. Using the power switch enables 3 different magnifications in Newtonians, SCT's and refractors. Also throwing in a 1.25” Denkmeier PST corrector so you can use it on a Coronado PST H-alpha solar telescope.
Condition is near new with only minor marks on the nosepiece from insertion into the focuser and a small paint chip on body (see pic) - would suit new buyer. Great performer, especially on moon and planets and bright DSOs. Works really well with a pair of 24mm panoptic eyepieces. The power switch gives magnifications of 0.6x, 0.9x and 1.15x with OCS on Newtonians and 1.25x, 1.8x and 2.25x magnifications with OCS on refractors. The OCS is not needed for SCTs.
Selling due to lack of use in recent years. Always stored in case. Originally bought on IIS for $1200 (not including the PST corrector).
