Superb seeing in Sydney tonight

Looked promising and had The Russian Tank out tonight... Saturn on the meridian was awesome, just sitting there at 440X showing details in the rings and on the planet itself ... the crepe ring was plain as could be and a fine host of little moonlets scattered in all directions, too many to compare with SS or be bothered counting.

... maybe some of the imaging types got some airtime.

What time was that? It was pretty bad in Sydney west when I looked.

11-12:30... Saturn was near the meridian, very high.

My son got up to have his first look at Jupiter and Saturn too, he’s not quite 4, but recognised them from the mobile hanging on his bedroom ceiling.
