Problems with PHD mount connection?

Another two steps forward and one step back. Trying to get PHD working with my ZWO ASI130MM guide camera. The camera works fine, and the image is appearing in PHD just fine. All the setup is as per my Net research uncovered. PHD doesn't connect to the mount (NEQ6). I have installed ASCOM Platform 6.1 . I have the drivers provided by ZWO, and have the ST4 cable on from the camera port to the NEQ6. I have also tried selecting the "On Camera" ST4 connection, and that didn't work either. Anyone using a ZWO camera as a guide cam I'd appreciate your guidance.

Hi Glen,
I use a ZWO120MM camera with ASCOM etc and a NEQ6 mount. PHD worked fined. I use ASCOM under the mount menu.

Thanks Paul, are you using the ST4 port on the camera to connect to the mount or do I need to get a cable to run from the laptop to the mount? I bought the camera because it has the ST4 port.

Try the latest version of PHD2 - may help...
The "on camera" ST-4 connections should obviously work...
Does the mount react to manual inputs via PHD??

I'd be interested in hearing how this works also. Still rebuilding the Ob after my 'loss of roof' episode a few weeks back in the big blow we had but taking the opportunity to do some upgrades and improvements.

Its PHD2. I will try again tonight., but may do some manual mount movement in the daytime to test out the ASCOM interface.

OK
have a good look at the ST-4 cable make sure it's correct!

( I recently bought a new guide camera, with ST-4 port but the included cable was incorrect! The supplier exchanged it for the correct one - no issues!)

Hi Glen,
I'm using the ST4 port on the camera direct to the mount.
I had to download this: http://www.zwoptical.com/software/AS...OM%20Setup.exe
From this page: http://www.zwoptical.com/Eng/Software/index.asp
