I've just had a look at the weather telemetry here at work... at 10:15 this morning it is still -1°C, and it got down to -5.5°C last night...

It'll be interesting when the snow arrives!

At 10:00 this morning we had just reached 0.3ēc. It didn't make much difference on a motorbike, it's still blooming cold

Cheers

I don't envy you, Al.

The temperature nudged under freezing this morning (-0.2ēC) and is 8.5ēC as I type. I'm guessing that, as it's only 11:00 as I post, we'll make the double figures later on.

Looking at the weather maps though I suspect there's a couple of colder days to come.

well sunny wallsend had -0.4 overnight and was 4 degrees at 7am, we had frost everywhere for the first time this year. we have had that much rain lately that I thought we would get through winter with no frost at all! Be good to see some snow, take the kids to barrington to play in it if it comes?

Nothing yet.

Usually they estimate a minimum altitude down to 600m. I don't know low levels means lower than that or if they just aren't sure how low...

Anyway, at 1100m, we should get some!

Al.
