Orion Sky Quest 12 XGT
I am finally selling my Orion Sky Quest 12 XGT. I would love to keep it myself but as mentioned I am switching to a superior scope. As such it is time to sell the trusty Dob.
This is basically a 12inch Dobsonian. I have used the scope for a few years now and it has served me well. It is still in excellent condition.
The Optics are wonderful and it really is a great scope. I am upgrading to a better telescope now and as such the old Dob has to go.
It has a focal length of 1500mm, diameter 305mm, f/4.9. I will include the 28mm Orion Deep View eyepiece that came with the scope.
I have used it both visually and for photographing the planets very successfully.
It is really is an excellent scope for visual work and the Goto makes it a breeze. I have also used it for astrophotography with barlows and various eyepieces (not included). So it has a huge potential to add to any existing set up.
Asking price $1300 and would need to be pick up.
