BlueTooth and WIFi for scope Mounts

I just ordered one of these Bluetooth controllers off "coldnights" http://www.iceinspace.com.au/forum/s...d.php?t=108338
and have a question.
The controller plugs into the hand controller, what if I have a GPS unit plugged into the second port, how do I use both.

Alan

Hi Alan,
Once you have got the GPS Coordinates in the hand controller disconnect the Gps unit and put the Bluetooth in and connect to the laptop .

Or if you have a gps unit that plugs into your Laptop all is ok !

You can not put the 2 into the hand controller at the same time.

As Cathy says, you can unplug the GPS once you have a time and location fix - or just enter your location and time manually, which is what I do with my SLT mount. (It remembers my location anyway, so all I have to do is enter the time and date at the start of each session.) My mount has a second AUX socket on the mount itself, which you could possibly attach the GPS unit to, if unplugging and replugging is too awkward?

Hi Julian,
Alan has a Skywatcher mount so no Aux port so once he has the gps settings disconnect the Gps and Attach the Bluetooth unit.
