Mr Squiggle

I love this nebula and while its not at the level I'd like to one day get to, its a big improvement on the scramble I made to capture it in May last year.



50 x 240s Oiii, 53 x 240s Ha.
200 gain, ZWO 1600mm pro
Tak FC100DC with 1.04x flattener.

That's a very good picture but there is more good data than your pic shows. I had a play with it and it's possible to really enhance some of the background nebulosity.

Yeah, that's cool that there is more I struggle going between different screens and stuff, pics show more or less on my phone or laptop. I will play with it more
In the meantime, if you have a better version, feel free to paste it here, of course! I'm keen to see it

I just did a histogram stretch to show the fine detail. Maybe mucks up the background a bit though.

It's good!! That's about what I started with after screen transfer function in PI, but when getting it ready for small upload here in gimp, it looked like I needed to clip it back by a mile. Anyway, that's great and thanks!!
