Taking Liberties!

*Warning! Sunglasses may be required!

An unashamedly bold narrowband colour edition of "The Statue of Liberty" nebula in Carina.

An unconventional palette certainly & maybe those new happy pills are working too well? But hey, why not

3-4 hrs ea 10min subs> HA, O3 & S2
1hr ea of 120 sec subs> R,G & B

Mapped O3>R HA>Blue> S2Green + RGB Stars

Processed in Astropixel processor + Photoshop
NB Star removal by Starnet++

Taken under severe LP from my backyard in Melbourne,Vic.

C&C welcome

Gee Andy.....I took your advice and couldn't see a thing at first...

...as my "Joo Janta 200 Super-Chromatic Peril Sensitive Sunglasses" went totally black! (This will only make sense to Hitchhiker's Galaxy Guide fans)

I mean *really* black.

I quickly realised after taking them off, to see what all the fuss was about, was not a good move....and briskly replaced them.

As Yoda would say: Certainly colourful it is!

Steve says bold, I’m going to go with LOUD and claim Disaster Area

What FWHM were you getting I know we’ve had a lot of average nights seeing wise and I know that 10” can show more detail than what you’ve got

Very cool Andy. A great use of colour.

It looks like a scene out of the final season of Game of Thrones.

Greg.
