GSO RC 14 Upgraded Version

Hi Everyone,
I have a GSO RC 14 which has been upgraded and enhanced for sale to make way for a larger scope.

The following are the list of enhancements:

1) Primary baffle optimization –3D print a cap with a reduced aperture of 95mm

2) Fan air flow block into primary baffle –Foam tape the gap between the primary mirror cell and the back plate

3) Secondary mirror tilt spring locator slot –large washer against the secondary mirror holder back with a slot to secure the spring form slipping

4) Secondary collimation screw edge sanding to flatten the surface contact reduces the “digging in to the metal” by these screws

5) Primary push screw brass cap –allows for very gentle locking action without affecting the collimation 6) Primary pull screw Teflon washer –allow for smooth and fine adjustment of the pull screw during collimation

Anyone interested please email me at ntk.thava@gmail.com or call me at 0428-727-976. Price is negotiable.

I welcome you to visit me to take a look at the scope and how it performs.
Here is my astrobin where you can find some images taken with this scope.

I have uploaded some images taken with this scope. More images can be see on my astrobin: https://www.astrobin.com/users/ntk.thava/

Will only be sold to interested parties with experience in RC scopes and located in WA and willing to make their way to my observatory in Perth.

I love the idea of the webcam on the top. I'm stealing it.

Also I've never seen an EQ8 loaded so heavily. How do you find it works like that?

If I was in Perth I'd be all over this.

It works very well. No issue on the EQ8.
