Eta carinae nebula

Hi,

I was out this last week trying to take a picture of Jupiter. ( not terribly successful).
While waiting for it to rise a bit more and having blown the cobwebs of the Canon 60d i set up to run 2 hours of Eta Carinae.
The mist came in before the end and i didn't get Jupiter. the results looked good though so i took another 2 hours the next night, then i tried jupiter.

This is the 75 x 180s result
iso 800
Orion eon 115mm
guiding working now

captured in Nina
stacked and processed in APP
tweaked in photoshop

Thanks for looking

Jack

Thanks for your comments, it is a beautiful area that’s for sure.

Nina has been almost trouble free for me and transformed what I do and how I move forward with the hobby.
